Top 5 Food Delivery Services on Android in Saudi Arabia in Q4 2023

In Q4 2023, the food delivery app market in Saudi Arabia saw interesting developments among its top players on the Android platform. Using data from Sensor Tower, we present a closer look at the performance of the leading apps: Hungerstation, Ninja - نينجا, ToYou - Delivery & Rides, Jahez, and Nana نعناع.

Hungerstation maintained a strong presence with weekly downloads fluctuating between 26.9K and 40.6K. Active users showed a slight dip mid-quarter, dropping from 679.6K at the start of October to 608.2K by mid-December, before rebounding to 626.3K by the end of the quarter.

Ninja - نينجا experienced a decline in downloads early in the quarter, starting at 35.2K and dipping to 15K by late November, before slightly recovering to 18.5K by the end of December. Active users followed a similar pattern, starting at 81.9K, decreasing to 67.2K, and then increasing to 80.6K by the end of the quarter.

ToYou - Delivery & Rides showed a consistent upward trend in downloads, starting at 5.4K in late September and peaking at 22.1K by mid-December. Active users also grew steadily from 48K to 68.2K over the quarter.

Jahez saw a mixed trend in downloads, starting at 15.6K in late September, dropping to 7.8K by early December, and then rising to 14.2K by the end of the quarter. Active users exhibited fluctuations, starting at 103.5K, dipping to 83.9K, and then peaking again at 103.8K by the end of December.

Nana نعناع had the most variable performance in downloads, starting at 7K, spiking to 15.4K in late October, and then dropping to 1.2K in early December before ending the quarter at 6.7K. Active users showed a similar trend, starting at 33.2K, peaking at 43.6K, and then fluctuating to finish at 33.9K.
